Hello and welcome to the website of First Baptist Church! I am excited that you have chosen to visit our website today! My name is Mat Alexander, and I am the pastor here. I am thrilled about the future at FBC Gadsden because we are a church that is excited about the fact that Jesus died for our sins and raised from the dead. In fact, that truth drives all that we do as a church.
I want to invite you to come worship with us one Sunday. We are a friendly, warm congregation who love to have guests with us. We strive to have a worship service that is Christ-centered, reverent, and rooted in the great traditions of the church. Further, I am committed to preach a sermon each week that is based entirely on the Bible and easily applied to your life. Each week, our goal is for people to encounter the risen Christ through the proclamation of the Gospel.
