On this past Sunday, I experienced something that was totally new for me. Frankly, it wasn’t one I saw coming either. I got to see a WMU president and other senior adult ladies dancing to live rap music. Isn’t it amazing what the Gospel does for us? Christ unifies different generations and different races and different cultures in a way that nobody else can.
Our Fall Festival was a great time in the life of our church, but we also were able to welcome our community. In fact, over 320 guests from our area were with us on Sunday. They got to hear live music, enjoy hot dogs and other snacks, play games, and haul tons of candy back to their homes. Soon, we also hope they will hear the Gospel of Christ.
Our church members did a fantastic job of planning and implementing this festival. I cannot wait to see the way the Lord blesses our efforts as we seek to reach these guests with the Gospel of Christ.
