Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. (7) You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

First Kids, the ministry to families of 1st-5th graders, partners with families to develop kids who: know who God is and have a relationship with Him, love God and love other people, and tell others about Jesus. We provide Christ-centered biblical teaching to equip kids and their families.

First Kids is committed to equipping families through activities including: Sunday School, Kids’ Worship, Wednesday Night Music & Missions, Family Worship Sundays and many other special events. We provide a safe environment where all volunteers go through a background check and kids are released only to adults with the matching security sticker.

Sunday Mornings

9:15 Sunday School

Kids in K4-5th Grade attend Sunday School in the Children’s Department (2nd Floor of the Davis Building).

K4-K5 Class- Europe Classroom

1st-2nd Grade Class- Asia Classroom

3rd Grade Class- Africa Classroom

4th-5th Grade- Middle East Classroom

1st-5th Graders begin Sunday School in the World Village Station (Kids Worship Room). K4-K5 students go directly to the Europe Classroom. All kids can be picked up from their class at 10:15.

10:30 Worship Service

Kids in K4-5th Grade are invited to join the whole church for worship in the Worship Center. At a designated time in the service, the kids are invited to join us for Kids Worship for a time of Bible Study, worship, snacks, and more!

Kids can be picked-up at the conclusion of the worship service in the World Village Station on the Kids floor.

All Kids need to be checked-in at a kiosk before going to Kids Worship. There are also green check-in stickers available in the pews.

Every 5th Sunday (about 4 times a year) we have Family Worship Sunday. On these days, the kids will remain in the worship service with their families the entire service.

Wednesday Nights

5:00 Supper

On Wednesday Nights Supper is available from 5:00-5:30 in the Fellowship Hall. It is $5 for adults. 18 and under always eat free. There are no sign-ups or reservations. Just bring yourself for a delicious meal and time of fellowship.

5:45 Music

Each Wednesday night from 5:45-6:30 Kids participate in choir and music classes.

K4 & K5 Kids will spend time, singing, playing instruments, and learning about God.

First Steps Choir meets in the North America Classroom

1st-5th Graders will spend time, singing, playing instruments, and learning about God.

Throughout the year the kids have the opportunity to play handbells, chimes, and various percussion instruments. Each year the kids learn a Christmas Musical to present for the church during the Advent season.
